Why we built PromptL.
The AI tools got smarter. Managing your prompts didn't. We fixed that.
If you use ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini seriously, you've already written hundreds of prompts. The system prompt for your writing assistant. The code review template you keep rephrasing. The research prompt that finally gets you the output you want. And then you close the tab — and it's gone. Into a notes app, a browser bookmark, a screenshot folder. Somewhere you'll never find it when you actually need it.
The real cost isn't the time spent rewriting. It's the inconsistency. A prompt you wrote once at peak clarity — when you were in the zone, when you knew exactly what you needed — is worth more than ten prompts written from scratch under deadline. The problem isn't the AI. It's access to your own best thinking.
A Library Built for the Way You Actually Work
PromptL is purpose-built for this. Not a notes app with tags bolted on. Not a browser extension that only works on desktop. A native iPhone app that lives where your AI workflows already happen — on your phone, in your pocket, always within reach.
The custom iOS keyboard extension means your entire prompt library is one tap away in any app. Open ChatGPT, pull up the PromptL keyboard, and inject your best prompt directly — no switching apps, no copying from Notes, no rewriting from memory. Write once. Use everywhere.
"The gap isn't between people who use AI and people who don't. It's between people who have their best prompts ready and people who are rewriting them from scratch."Carina Nasir Creator of PromptL
A personal project.
I'm an independent developer based in Germany. No boardroom, no VC funding — just a deep obsession with software craft and a genuine frustration with how difficult it is to manage AI workflows on iPhone. I use these tools every day. I built the app I needed.
PromptL is built with the conviction that your best AI interactions deserve to be saved, refined, and reused — not lost in a chat history or buried in a notes folder. Privacy, aesthetics, and utility aren't tradeoffs here. They're the whole point.
